The Program

The Healing the Healer Program offers mentees the opportunity to learn and engage in meaningful, immersive, and embodied personal whole-being healing practices attuned to your heart, body, mind, spirit, socio-cultural and ancestral connections.

This remote program also supports mentees in addressing interpersonal and interrelational issues -- intimate, peer, family, spiritual and more.

You will be supported in clarifying and taking up intergenerational trauma, wounding, pain and gifting. As well as learning how to clear lower-level energies and interchange with elevated ancestors and spirit-helpers for integration, wisdom, protection, and guidance for a harmonious path.

The Healing the Healer Program will help you engage in your own personal healing process and cultivate your unique gifts.

Impactful and meaningful healing takes time and cannot be done in a few weeks, therefore, this program is six months. Only those willing to commit to the full duration of the program should participate.

Post-program mentorships are also available.

Program Outline

Semester I will provide you with the opportunity to clear away pain and confusion--of all kinds--and to experience perspective and greater direction in all areas of your life. Here you will hold things "up to the light" for clarity, truth-telling and truth-feeling. You will also engage in personal healing methods that are useful and specific to you because one size does not fit all!

Semester II provides you with the opportunity to explore your unique gifting as a budding healer and helper and to learn personally relevant earth-based practices and non-culturally-appropriative ways to fortify your whole-being. You will also gain clarity and begin to engage in your unique gifting through psycho-social,  practical and spiritual methods. This may involve ritual, ceremony and other embodied ways of healing and seeking harmony.

Course Delivery & Principles

Course Delivery

Bi/weekly self-reflection materials, exercises and rituals--based on effective psycho-social, emotional and spiritual methods will be uploaded under a member’s blog that only mentees can access. Podcasts, videos and direct ancestral messages will also be provided too. Webinars, guest speakers, and relevant reading material will also be accessible.

Mentees are required to participate in a monthly online Peer Healing Circle. This will give mentees many opportunities for personal growth and collective sharing, prayer, learning, discussion, and engagement.

AOP Principles

The Healing the Healer Program is trauma-responsive and based on what I call, walk-your-talk anti-oppression-based principles and practices (AOP). In an effort to create a safe-r space for everyone, open, kind and boundaried communication as well as permission and consent is key. Not only will the usage of blatant or subtle violence in language, action, or behaviour not be accepted, mentees who do so will be asked to leave the program. Its also essential that participants be willing to actively and meaningfully reflect on their privileges, biases, complicity, etc. This accountability applies to the facilitator too.

AOP requires us to actively disrupt and seek to eradicate racism, colonialism, homophobia, transphobia, biphobia, ageism, capitalism, white supremacy, ableism, patriarchy, white privilege, colourism, class privilege and more. Check out Oppression & a Glossary of Terms to learn more.

Time Commitment

A commitment to one-on-one sessions with the facilitator is required, as well as monthly participation in the Peer Healing Circles. Bi/weekly home/spirit-work equals approximately 12-16 hours per week.

This excludes potential resources for individual rituals, traditional medicine and ceremonies if need be.

Mentor's Commitment to You

I will identify and follow the lead of your elevated ancestors and spirit helpers. I will also hold space and place for your unique emotional and spiritual needs and provide relevant tools for your psycho-social, emotional, and spiritual growth, as well as be available to you (within reason).

I will prioritize your needs and your healing work and won't be self-serving. I will also be responsive, self-reflective, and be willing to correct my beliefs and behaviour, if needed and required.

I will recognize the vulnerability and trust involved in your healing process and will hold your heart and spirit with care and tenderness.

I won't waste your time or resources and will maximize our time together, to your benefit.

I will provide relevant teachings and wisdom that “speaks to you” and, if you consent, will pray for your whole being and those you love, in an ongoing manner.

I will provide feedback on your process and encourage you to be disciplined, dedicated, and diligent in “doing your work” without being hierarchical in my approach.

I will lead by example and be non-judgmental while providing an abundance of encouragement and support to you throughout the program and beyond.

As a mentee in the mentorship program, I have grown in my spiritual life. The classes online and remote sessions were very valuable. Rebecca's gentle guidance and instruction have assisted me in finding my calling and understanding my practice more effectively. There are so many aspects that you need to explore and work on in this process and the practical exercises helped me gain confidence and clarity. I loved working with her on an individual basis and with my peers. The comradery and sharing were invaluable and I will forever treasure them. I now feel that I am on the best path for me to discover more in my spiritual work. I am thankful for this opportunity to study, learn and grow on my healing journey.

Answering my calling to heal has been the most challenging path I could have never imagined for myself, and finding authentic teachers and guides to assist has not been easy! Rebecca is one such teacher -- she has devoted her life to helping people remember and reclaim what is right for them. She genuinely embodies what it means to be a healer within a community, doing the work of leading by example for what true interconnection and healthy relationships can look like. Interacting with her has helped me become more clear on my own values, my calling, my boundaries, and what’s truly right for me and my relationship with myself, with spirit, and with all of life’s communities.

I was able to sort out a lot of things. This program gave me structure and clear guidelines. The cleansing was so important. The one-on-one sessions were very individual and I always had the feeling that my personal situation was noticed. I found the peer groups very good because I could exchange ideas and have a feeling of community. Every topic created a self awareness. My work now is more focused. Prayer, ceremony, and contact with my ancestors have intensified and are clearer. In this intensive training, I always felt I was in good hands!
